Obviously not based on Free Agency or anything.
1. OT/OG
2. WR (many slot receivers and speedy guys should be in the 2nd round
3. CB
4. FS
5. MLB
Wow, we're pretty stacked, I can't think of much more than that.

I want Dan Williams and Mardy Gilliard. If we got Rennie Curran and Reshad Jones that would just be a bonus.

What positions do they play (for those of us who don't follow college football very closely)?

I want the Best Players Available. I don't give a crap where they play as long as they already or someday could do it better than someone we already have. Drafting based on perceived need is how we end up with the likes of Bobby Carpenter, Jacob Rogers, Jamie Marten, Anthony Fasano, and so on with our early picks. It's not like any rookie we take this year will come in a take a starting job from someone, so improve our depth and long-term prospects and just make us the most talented team we can be. That's the New England/Pittsburgh/Baltimore draft model that everyone's been drooling over the last several years.
If I had to rank our needs, they'd look like this:
1. KR/PR Specialist (cut Sam Hurd and give his spot to a dazzling return man)
2. Backup C/G (NO MORE PROCTER)
3. FS (a playmaker, not just a defender)
4. ILB (someone to compete with Jason Williams to one day replace Brooking)
5. NT (I want that 330-lbs behemonth to anchor our 3-4 someday)

OL/T
DL/NT
Safety
ILB
WR/KR/PR
CB
QB
I would hope to get a possible starter at tackle. Flo and Columbo are getting slow.
The picking order would be whose available but we all know JJ will do it like always, wheel and deal and try to make some headlines.

Haynie, I have been thinking the same thing here. I mean Rat does a great job, but being undersized, how long can he do it? We need to be about down the line here.
5. NT (I want that 330-lbs behemonth to anchor our 3-4 someday)

I kinda like what I've heard about this rookie tackle we got last year that went on IR, Robert Brewster. He definitely has the size (6'6, 320 pounds) and was decent in college. I'm interested to see what kind of production we can get out of him when he's healthy next year.
I still agree that taking an OL high in the draft would be a good idea though. Having too many promising young linemen is a good problem to have.

I still want Jacoby Ford bad in the 2nd or 3rd rd. His draft stock will go up after a strong combine today. He was the talk of the wr's in the speed drills.
Ran a 4.27 and 4.28 40 in his two runs. 2nd fastest wr. ran a 4.41.
Also scouts loved that is 10 yd break off the line was clocked at 1.45 secs. Which is a tremendous burst off the line.....would be a perfect slot wr.

Im not liking Ford at 5'8" the receiver I like is Arrelious Benn. Hes 6'1" 219, ran a 4.48 40, and did 20 reps on the bench. The guy is quick and strong. Also he has a 37" vertical.

Arrelious Benn
Height:
6'1"
Weight:
219 lbs.
Arm Length:
32 1/4 in.
Hand Size:
9 3/8 in.
College:
Illinois (http://www.nfl.com/combine/players?filterType=college&filterCond=Illinois)
Conference:
Big 10 (http://www.nfl.com/combine/players?filterType=conference&filterCond=Big 10)
Benn is a big receiver with above average speed that can be equally effective catching the ball underneath and in traffic or on the deep seam routes. He has good ball skills as well as leaping ability which allows him to go up and high point his catches when in traffic. He will struggle to track and adjust to deep balls that are thrown off target. He is a little stiff in his hips and tends to telegraph his cuts to defenders but shows a good burst coming out of his break. He needs to refine his route running and setting defenders up but has enough talent to be a threat as a team’s second receiver.

Also, Mardy Gilyard (who ran a 4.56 40) was only 0.01 behind Ford in the 60 yard shuttle. Mardy did it in 11.59 and Ford in 11.58. Gilyard also has a 39" vertical, hes 6" 187 lbs.
So Id take Benn or Gilyard over Ford.
