Well, I measured my swing speed a few weeks ago. I came in at 90mph. Compare that to Tigers at around 130 and you know where Im at. My friend Trey swings at 140.
Now, my first good drive I hit went 220 yards, so Im not too upset. I hate that its getting cold, I wanna go play some more. Oh well, there is always Spring.

Eric start with a golf shop.. let then work with you on some clubs.. say they tell you Calloway clubs works for you.. the ones out now are like X22.. then go to that site and look up a little older set, say the X20 or even the X18 .. you can save huge amounts of money after you know the going price for those clubs if you buy them say off ebay or locally.
My set was shipped to me and still save alot of money. I am a firm believer now in equipment can help.

Well, the friend I live with knows a lot about golf. So Ive been asking him. He says I need Cavity Back clubs with graphite shafts.

Cavity back are more forgiving.. so yes I would agree there.. Graphite are the newer clubs, but more expensive. I have Graphite driver and woods with steel irons. but I am stud so the heavier clubs are no problem lol.. j/k
Steel clubs are heavier and cost less is all.
