Mickey Spagnola, of DallasCowboys.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys have lost six of their past seven season-opening games. The team's only win during that stretch was in 2005 when they defeated the San Diego Chargers 28-24.

this is why i haven't voted in the who will win pole. i HATE picking against the Boys. looks like too many thing going against us in this one. BIG backs have generally given us trouble in the past. hopefully Wade can fix that.

If we have sloppy tackling like we did against the Texans, they will have their way. Solid tackling in important, none of this driving in the shoulder only to have the back bounce it off and keep running BS.

Yeah Ron I hate picking against the boys as well...even when I know they will probably lose. I do however do not think we will lose this game Sunday night. Of course I could be wrong because I never know what Cowboy team is going to show up from game to game but I think the Boys are really going to be fired up for this game...I hope.

My friend, a Giants fan (look, I'm sorry, I live in NJ), tells me that he heard the Cowboys had never lost a season opener to the NY Giants. Lets hope this streak continues if it is infact true.
