This is America's true past time, all other boring sports can now take a back seat, baseball, tennis, basketball, and all that junk, move over! Football Season is FINALLY here. Talk about the official Kickoff to the Regular Season 2007 here!

Talk about the pregame events, make your predictions on the outcome. Are the Saints really one of the favorites to win the NFC, or are the Colts ready to repeat?

I wouldn't care who's playing tonight, it's the fact that the games now actually mean something. I'm excited, although, I do hope that the Colts beat up on the Saints.

I am on the fence for tonights game.

Indy lost some key characters from thier defense this past year. They have always had an offense and can win a shootout against anyone.

But I will have to see what thier defense can do to stop Brees, Bush, McAllister and Colston (And Sean Peyton) before I get a warm fuzzy about a Colts win.

But I will go out on a limb and give them the edge in this one simply for the home field advantage.

Colts win 27-24.

That's why I was surprised all the "so called experts" were just handing the Lombardi Trophy to the New England Patriots. Teams have to get by Indy first. They are the Super Bowl Champions and the best team in the NFL right now until someone can take that Trophy away from them. They deserve the respect because they earned it last year by winning it all.

Yeah, and if it wasn't for David stripping the ball form Wayne and scoring on that 55 yard fumble recovery. The Aints would have only scored 3 pts. Hard to believe they could only score 3 pts on offense the whole game.

The thing I like about the Colts is; they lost a lot of players after the Superbowl (which is what usually happens to teams that win it all) and they still came out and kicked ass. I mean they lost "BOTH" their starting corners from last year. Tarik Glenn retired, they lost one of their best linebackers, and still laid the smack down on the Aints.

I hope the Boys come out Sunday night all fired up and put "The beating of a lifetime" on the G-Women. 42-0 would be nice but I'll settle for 28-0.. ;)

Well adam it's not like they were handing it to NE but it's not as simple to say Indianapolis is going back to The Superbowl just because they won it all last year it has only happened 8 times that a team has won back 2 back SB so it isn't easy to do you can't go out and predict Ind will go because then each year you would have to pick the SB winner and another team from the other conference or better yet Chicago should go back again because until they lose they're the best team in the NFC.

I agree with what you said but you misunderstood what I was getting at. Just because the Colts won the Super Bowl last in no way means they are going back again this year and will win it all again. I know that. My point was that they were all saying that New England Is the favorite to go to the Super Bowl this year based on what they have player wise on paper.

Now I agree that New England has what looks like a very good team and they have as good a shot as any to actually make it to the Super Bowl. What bugged me is that the Colts should have been thrown in that mix to be in the Super Bowl as well. They did actually just win it. I just did not agree with all the experts not giving the Colts their do respect. Until someone can Eliminate the Colts out of the play-offs and stop them on their quest to get back to the Super Bowl again I feel that they are the team to beat.
