100 catches, 1,500 yards and 20 TDs?!
Those are the goals that T.O. set for himself in his letter to fantasy football owners.
For the sake of comparison, let's look at T.O.s career high in each category: 100 catches, 1,451 yards and 16 TDs. But he's sticking with the sky-high stats as his goals.
"Are those goals obtainable? Yes," T.O. said. "Are they far-fetched? No."
Andy Reid agreed to wear spandex pants to practice if T.O. scored 15 TDs his first season in Philly. Roy Williams saved the Eagles from that horrendous sight by breaking T.O.'s legs when he had 14 TDs.
T.O. plans to approach Wade Phillips with a similar deal.
"Maybe I can get him into tights and cowboy boots," T.O. said. "How 'bout that?"
Guess here is that Phillips would wear whatever T.O. wanted after 1,500 yards and 20 TDs.

A little far fetched for a team that is going to use the short passing game more than last year. The TE's will take about 40 of those passes away from T.O.

is it really that far fetched? we are going to be running basically the same offense we used in the 90's super bowl runs.
1995, Irvin had 111 rec, for 1603 yds, and 10 td's. that was the year Emmitt had 25 td's. remember how many td's Emmitt used to get when Irvin was tackled inside the 5 yard line? TO is a huge upgrade over Irvin with respects to YAC. TO will not be caught from behind like Irvin did. i definitely can see the 100 rec and 1500 yds being attainable. the 20 td's might be a stretch, but 15 seems more realistic. 20??????? maybe. if it happened, i wouldn't be surprised.

but the beagles have a fairly short passing game as well especially that year. tony may not scramble as much as donnavan though. the cowboys certainly had a short and conservative passing game last year and he managed to get within two. I got to think the TD number at least is not all that out of reach. I'll have pass on seeing wade in spandex... his daughter Tracy, is another story.
I'm not sure that he'll be able to reach all 3 of his goals, there's a whole lot of talent to go around on offense. However, I do like the fact that he belives they are attainable.

Hey there is nothing wrong with believing in yourself and setting high goals for the season. I like a WR that will do that. He it's T.O. and not your average run of the mill WR. Do I think he will accomplish it. My guess is he may come close but I do not think he pulls it off. Great if he does though. I will be pulling for him that's for sure.
It is just really nice to see T.O. having fun on a football team.

With the way he bends our young QB's ear.. he will probably get first look down towards the goal line.. Romo sure seems to favor TO over Glenn..
Never can tell.. I say.. give it a go... should be a good season if he gets close to any of these goals.

I'm real eager to see glenn get on the field as I think he is a very key part of the offense really forcing the defense to remain honest and not double up and TO

I'm with you on this and I think we all are but I am comfortable for a short period of having Crayton cover for him. Hey it won't be long before we will need to have Crayton take over once Glenn retires anyway if he can prove he can handle it.

I like Crayton, solid dependable, seems to have a knack for making plays. Not sure if he's a suitable replacement for Glenn though. I'm hoping Stanbeck learns WR real quick, I think the kid can be something special.
After hearing about Terry Glenn's knee, looks like we'll find out about Crayton and Hurd sooner than we hoped.

With Glenn out..... we find out if we kept the right WR's... the ones ready to step it up.
I bet TO gets all the WR's pumped for this game.

I just hope that T.O.'s goals don't make Romo look towards him too much near the endzone. We've seen Romo throw to a covered T.O., while Witten is standing there all alone one too many times already.

Witten or Fasano[/b]
Both I hope!! I hope Fasano gets used like we all saw him used in the Colts Preseason game. Man he was a beast in that game. He also looks to me like he has really bulked up muscle wise during the offseason. I just hope his shoulder injury does not flare up and bother him throughout the season.
