Sigs are working, please be sure you are entering the correct data when creating a sig.

- You want to click the "insert image" button

- Please enter the image of your URL: http:// window pops up. You must put the exact URL here...if you are linking from photobucket you need to copy the "direct link" one and copy, then past into the pop up window in vBulletin.

Be sure when you paste the direct url that it says http://www. NOT http://http://www.example, etc etc.

- Click save signature and youre done.

I went in and user the test account as a regular user and the sigs are working fine Remember adding sigs will be different from our past board. inserting images and sigs will be slighty different. Just following the instructions here and you should be fine.

OK now that you all have figured out finally how to use the Sig feature on the board I need to go over a thing or 2 with you.

We all like Sig's (Well most of us) myself included. I enjoy seeing what you guys/gals come up with next. I personally think it adds to the flare of our site. I think it is a form of art from you all when you have actually created them yourselves instead of just going out and finding someone else's work. It is fine to use someone else's work as long as you give them credit and do not take credit yourself.

Now since we are back to using the Sig's again I have to set some strict guidelines that our Regular members must follow. Joe & I do not want to see them bigger than 500 x 150.

I am not going to be anal and remove a sig that may be a few pixels bigger so calm down. We just cannot have really big Sig's anymore. It is annoying to members to have BIG sig's thrown in their face every time they surf a thread. Make them reasonable in size. Look at Joe, Sandtrap and my Sig we are using now. That is reasonable.

Also please use 1 sig at a time. No more 2 of 3 sig's going at once. You combine the pixel rates together and you go way over the board limit. So please don't do that anymore. It is fine to have 2 or 3 different ones up at once as long as they are close to our limit allowed combined. Now if there is a special time that you may want to put up a bigger Sig for a short time for a particular reason then PM me or Joe and get permission. We will either say OK or no. Or I can help you shrink it down to the right size.

If anyone does not abide by these rules your Sig's will be removed and you may lose your Sig privileges for a period of time. Please understand where Joe & I are coming from. We are not trying to be Scrooges here but we just have to keep a reasonable limit on Sig's sizes for the better of the board.

Thanks everyone. If you all have any questions please ask away. If any of you ever need help with any of your Sig's I will be glad to help you out. In closing I will ask each of you to look at your Sig's and make sure they are following the boards policy on Sig's. If you are unclear as to if they are OK ask me and I will look at them and tell you yes or no.
