Man its hard to say win we play these homo's....I'm putting on my Silver and Blue glasses for this one and saying Yes. 28-10, TO has a huge game.

First game of the season at home against a division foe, no reason we don't come away with a win to start the season off on the right foot. Besides they are not looking too tough themselves.

I think we win but barely. The secondary is in bad shape which is going to put a lot of pressure on the pass rush to pressure, hurry, and hopefully rack up some sacks. On the other side of the ball Romo has the players to put points up on the board but its up to Flo, Bigg, and the rest of the o-line to keep Romo clean.

sniper are you counting on eli w/o tiki to really be that big of a threat. I think they struggle for a bit.

I want to know who voted no? It better not be a Cowboy fan on this board because we don't need no one coming in here and jinxing us. LOL

Well it very well could be a hard fought game with us squeaking out a close win but...with what we are all hoping we have in this team now going into the 2007 season we should and better kick their butts if we want to be taken seriously. If not then I am afraid we will be seeing more of the same old win one lose one season we have all become to accustomed to seeing.

If we sack Eli 4 or 5 times and knock him down another bunch of times, than yes, we will beat them. If we let Eli stand back there for a couple of seconds waiting for his receivers to get open, then we loose.

I sure like the idea of no Tiki Barber. That shifty little bas*ard always found a way to have a pretty good game against us. If you held him to like 45 yards rushing he would catch a 5 yard screen and turn it in to a 50 yarder. I don't think straight up runner Brandon J. even comes close to the speed and shiftiness Barber had. I thought they signed Ruben Droughns too.

I think we win this one 28-17. T.O. has 2 TD's. JJ has 1 and our D takes 1 to the house.

Give any QB time in the pocket and they are going to find their guys and with our secondary seemingly non-existent I expect to see the giants pass quite a bit. Now don't get me wrong I don't think eli is the next Aikman, Marino, or Unitas but any QB with ample time in the pocket can be a threat. The only thing that concerns me with their running game is Jacobs he's no Tiki but the guy has size and strength. Which means the defense can't be running around tackling like a bunch of second string players.

I gave us the win in a close game. I think they're going to keep Newman on the bench to start the game and only play him if needed. Anthony Henry's always matched up well with Plaxico Burress. Amani Toomer is a tough matchup for any of our young corners, but they should be okay with some safety help. The big issue will be who covers Jeremy Shockey. I think the slimmed-down Bradie James should be able to handle the assignment, but I wouldn't be surprised if they use Kevin Burnett or Bobby Carpenter more just for this particular matchup. Their running game doesn't scare me much.

Our offense shouldn't have much problem putting points up. Terrell Owens can manhandle any of their corners, and Jason Witten is going to be almost as tough to guard as their own tight end. Like Newman, I think they'll try and rest Terry Glenn if possible. If they can get past the Giants, they have a light task ahead in Week 2 when they travel to Miami. If they could give both Newman and Glenn two more weeks to heal up now, it could be very beneficial for the long haul. I think you take this week, Home Field advantage, and keep those guys resting unless you need them.

After the collapse at the end of last season (5 out of the last seven at home and we lost 4 out of 5 of them) I don't know what "Home field" is.....

I think it's going to be close.... I'm going to be very interested in seeing how Romo plays after that heartbreaker to Seattle...

I also believe TO will come back strong this year..

I think we win a close one. Our back field has me a bit concerned.. I hope Wade sees or knows way more then I saw during the games..

I think it is very important that we start the season off on the right foot, come out and treat this like the Super Bowl! The first play should be a deep ball to T.O., even if he drops it, it will keep them on their heels!

I am going to be honest and say I am not as concerned about the injuries to our secondary as most.

I think that Eli will have a defender in his face constantly all night, and he has always given up turnovers when rattled like that.

A Defensive backs best friend is a front 7 that puts pressure on the QB. So even Jacques Reeves can perform as a starter as long as our front 7 is forcing Eli into errant throws.

But I think the Giants will start out with a hefty dose of Brandon Jacobs running right at our rookie OLB, Anthony Spencer. Coughlin knows how potent our offense has the potential of becoming and will want to grind out the game and win the TOP battle.

Key will be first down for the Giants. No gain on first down will force Eli to throw on second and making a long third down conversion. As long as the defense is in his face, we will force turnovers and incompletions.

But if NY is in 3rd and short most of the night, then it will be a close game.

Dallas will prevail 28-13

A tough game, coming down to a defensive stand against Eli at his best...the two-minute drill. Can we hold him? We shall see

Nick Folk...Nick Folk...Nick Folk. Man won't it be just awesome if Folk turns out to be as much of a surprise as McBriar was for us eh?
