Very surprising Jack let him play the preseason games as starter and now decides to release him. Where do you think he will go?

Garrard to be starting QB; Jags to trade or release Leftwich

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One of coach Jack Del Rio's first decisions with the Jacksonville Jaguars was drafting Byron Leftwich.

One of his toughest was letting him go.

Del Rio and the Jaguars said Friday they are parting ways with Leftwich after four frustrating, injury-filled seasons. They hope to trade him but are resigned to releasing the former first-round draft pick.

I really cannot blame Del Rio for letting Leftwich walk. That team has been more than patient with him. He is just always injured. Call it bad luck or whatever you want but at the end of the day Leftwich was not getting it done especially for being a over-all 7 pick in the 1st round.

Also...no I don't want the Cowboys to go out and try to get him. We have much more pressing needs on this team than picking up an often injured QB. I said that because I just know someone is going to say we should grab him.
