Who Starts at OLB, vs. Giants? Who will be the starting OLB opposite Ware?

I think we will see a little of both of them but Carpenter will get the official start.

I thought there would be a lot of players rotating through the LB corps. Recent injuries have pretty much put an end to that.
I wonder if Bradie James can cover a TE? B)

Question was who will start? So my vote is Carpenter but obviously Spencer wil get his share of Reps most likely on Passing situations so he can rush the passer!

Combo of both. Carpenter will definitely start and like others said, Spencer will get some time rushing the QB.

I voted combo..
I hear Carp will probably get the nod.. with Spencer getting plenty of chances to get to the QB

Carpy starts. Although the fact that this question exists is a nagging little thought. Neither must've knocked socks off at camp.

I think if Ellis is healthy he should start while sharing significant playing time with spencer. There will be plenty of for Carp to get on the field at the inside spots.

Snoop Bro...I am not trying to give you a hard time but Ellis just went to get a second opinion. He did not just all of a sudden get healed enough to play in a regular game. All reports lead us to believe that he is just not ready yet. It may even be many Regular season games before we see him out on the field. I give you props for thinking positive but my guess is no way his he ready to play yet. He is not even pushing off on it yet without any contact. If he is still uncomfortable with not pushing off without contact do you really think he is going to plant and push off on it against a big healthy opponent?

Whomever starts, or in rotation better get some pressure on Eli, Its not sounding like Newman is ready to take the field yet... :(

I know bro, I think we may be running a lot of nickel packages if this is the case. I mean, this really has to open some eyes for people, we are thin with quality at CB. Just to think Aaron Glenn may start makes me throw up a little in the mornings, lol.

I hear that Joe.... if our defense lets Eli look good this year.. I will be throwing up... In the past we have let a few dogs look good when everyone else kicked their @$$ and it is time the boys start doing the same..
Or we wont ever get to the next level.
