Backup nose guard goes to Ratliff: Jay Ratliff has performed well in training camp and the preseason. He was rewarded for his efforts when Phillips named him the backup nose tackle to starter Jason Ferguson.

he has a great motor and more experience then the others..

sweet. He has done really good when he has gotten the opportunities. This also frees up more playing time for the other Ends like Hatcher who also has done very great.
