What happened to this years 3rd round pick? i think detroit ended up getting it but why?

I have never heard that rule. I thought that jerry traded it for the extra 3rd next year. I didn't see any of day 2, so I am hoping that your not serious. If not that is a terrible rule.

OK last time we traded our 3rd for detroits 4th (111) next years 4th and a 7th round pick.

We then traded the 4th to move down and get more picks that gave us clevelands 3rd next year and we used the 7th to move up to draft the CB.
