It was just reported today that JS has a injury on his toe since Thanksgiven... he needs surgery and it's a 4-6 month rehab so it might hurt his draft grade

I wonder why he didn't get the surgery done as soon as the season was over? I would think that not being able to start practicing until at least August (assuming he gets it done now) would hurt his draft value more than not being able to participate in the combine and pro days.

Ah well, either way he ought to be ready by the start of preseason or at least by the start of the regular season. It probably will hurt him a little but I wouldn't imagine it'd hurt him too much.

Even if he is injured he wouldn't fall out of the early second. Without the injury he is a late first rounder.

It will affect his spot a little bit but he is to good of a runner to have it hurt him to bad IMO. Now I don't know the details of his injury, but I think a team would be stupid to pass up on him if they have him high on their draft board just because He has to have surgery on one of his toes.
