First of all let me say...It's about Damn time!!!!

Former Cowboys Bob Hayes and Chuck Howley are among the 15 finalists for the two senior slots for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2008. Rayfield Wright was a seniors candidate when he was voted into the Hall of Fame in 2006, and Hayes was an unsuccessful seniors candidate in 2004. Howley was the MVP of Super Bowl V and went to six Pro Bowls in 15 season. Hayes averaged 20 yards per catch in his career and scored a touchdown once every 5.2 receptions.

Players must be out of the NFL for 25 years to qualify as seniors. The two seniors in 2007, Gene Hickerson and Charlie Sanders, both were inducted into the Hall of Fame this month.

Former Dallas Texans and Kansas City Chiefs star safety Johnny Robinson also is among the finalists, as is former University of Texas great Tommy Nobis.
