I've set the draft to Wed, Sep 7th at 8:45 pm EST. I figured this would give us the best chance to draft without getting screwed preseason injuries, roster cuts, etc. If anyone has a problem with this day or time let me know.

I carried over setting from last year's league. Please review those and tell me if you think we should make any changes. I'd be in favor of adding some point-per-catch if you'd like. I also wouldn't mind dumping the individual defensive players. But I'm down for whatever the majority wants.

Also, I work Monday-Wednesday 6p-6a. So I wouldnt be able to make that draft.

Would anyone be opposed to doing it on the Sunday night before Labor Day? I know that's a holiday weekend, but not only does Eric have a conflict but I just realized that one of Don's league's drafts starts like an hour before ours.

Let me know if you have suggestions for the draft. I'm fine with moving it back a week or so, if we have to.

Yahoo has keeper leagues, but you have to set it up under the draft managment.

Hey guys. We need more members to join the fantasy league! If you were planning to do so and haven't yet please get on it so I can know how many I'm working with. We currently have 6 signed up and it's a 12-team league. If we get closer to time and still don't have enough, be thinking of any reliable players you know that I can invite to the league.

Also, the draft date and time have been changed to Thursday, Aug 25th (NEXT WEEK) at 9:00pm EST. Don and Eric both had conflicts and this was the best alternative I could think of. However, this means we now only have a week to fill the league. Please let me now ASAP if you have a problem with this new date/time.

We can cut if off at 10 players if needed, but I generally hate playing with less than 12. Let me know what you all want to do.

Now that we have 9 teams, here's a thought: what if we just cut off and 10 teams and played two QBs? I've been listening to Matthew Berry's podcast and he said he loves playing two QBs in 10-team leagues. It adds some challenge as you have to make tougher decisions about the 11-20 guys, whereas QBs 1-10 are not that tough to figure out.

Any thoughts?

That's the idea. So instead of everyone just having an elite QB, we have to get more creative about our mid-range guys and especially our backups. It just adds some more challenge and skill to it.

If people are opposed to it then that's fine, but I'd like to try it and it sounds like Don and Ebright are down. Any objections?

Okay everyone, we need a 10th and final player! Doesn't have to be a board member. Doesn't even have to be a Cowboy fan, though that would be preferable. Just find someone who you know can be at the draft Thursday and we can trust to stay active in the league.

If any of you members who aren't playing want to join in, let me know ASAP. If you've never played fantasy before, this is a great chance to give it a try. We'll be happy to explain some thing things to you if needed.

Two QBs I have done this before. Just lower the scoring for the QB so it is not crazy. Because the person picking 10 will go Rodgers & Brady. Which aint cool.

Yeah I agree you have to loger the score because two great QB's is way better than 2 great HB

Also, we have to get one more player. I've asked around with people I know and nobody's biting. If I get home from work and we still don't have anyone I'm just going to open it up to the public. I hate doing that, because a lot of time they just use it to practice drafting and never play again.

Try and find someone if you can, guys.

We can open it to the public it's only 1 more... But yeah what everyone else wants it's ok. If you can't move the draft it's ok by me 2 I have done my Draftboard already it's not the best scenario but we can't have everything.
