Chris Canty, the Blocked FG which changed the momentum for us, and he was always near the ball all day..

Canty... maybe this will turn his game around and he will realize he cant change any game he wants to, and will choose to be a game changer from here on out.

Where is Hatcher dammitt!!! who made this stinkin thread??? I'm jokin. Still though, How about Hatcher continuing to show us something each week. This guy is a playmaker.

Yes Hatcher should have made the list. I just put up what the guys nominated. Shame on the lack of Hatcher props. See what happens Joe when you go away? LOL

I know, I apologize for my absence yesterday. I had the biggest neck/headache, it put me down early. But thanks for getting the Poll up bro. I voted whole defense. With the takeaways, Watkins, Ellis, Ware, and Hatcher leading the way. The defense shutdown Adrian.

Tell you what though...if the Vikings get some receivers, and a QB, they could make some noise in the next season or two. i don't know about Jackson at QB, he's no McNabb. He plays more like Vick, and that's not a compliment.

Funny how everyone was flipping out when we drafted Hatcher, yet he might turn out to be quite the player. Too bad we dont know who was against him so we could ridicule them :P. Seriously though, he plays a limited amount but almost always makes a big play and if he doesnt, he is at least in the QBs face. We need to get this guy way more playing time.

I voted the whole defense. The numbers speak for themselves. 196 TOTAL yards allowed. The QB was 6/19. A lot of people will discredit the Defense and say its because Tavarious Jackson is horrible...well he doesnt put up a game like that every week, our defense just played great. Corners handled their guys(great breakups by TNew and Reeves on some of the pass plays), Safeties did their job(Good recovery on that wide open Wade play by Roy, he made up some mad ground to tip that ball), the LBs were slow to start but eventually started stuffing the run(and mad props to James for some great tackles), the D line also stepped it up later on and started stuffing the run.

Great effort all around and they were playing as a great unit. So many people were getting in on the plays which is awesome to know we got that many good players on D.

I mistakenly picked Watkins forgetting Canty was the one who got the ball to him.

Since I could pick 2 I did. I picked Watkins and Canty.

Honestly guys, do you really think Watkins and/or Canty were the most valuable players in that game? Sure, they made the biggest single play... BUT IT WAS ONE PLAY! One touchdown. If that was the only play anyone had made all day, we'd have lost 14-7. You can't get so caught up in big plays that you lose sight of the players who truly carried the team the ENTIRE game. I didn't see either of those two guys make any impact on the game outside of that one moment.

Good point Haynie. I picked Watkins because even though there were others that probably were more deserving because of their consistent play in that game, Watkins TD was what I call the point where the game changed. It was the turning point and to me the biggest play of the game. Momentum switched back to us after that TD and it fired up our whole team. So that is the reasoning behind my Watkins vote but your point is duly taken bro.

Looks like Canty gets the MVP Gameball as his blocked kick helped turn the momentum in our favor.
